Michael L. Paule

mike-paule-166x193Michael L. Paule – Director, was first elected to the TSD board in 2008. He is the past Chairman of the TSD Board, having also served in that role in 2016 and 2010-2011, as well as Chair of the Las Virgenes-Trinfo Joint Powers Authority in 2011.

Mr. Paule served as a Councilman on the Oak Park Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) from 2003 through 2015, having twice served as Chairman of the MAC.

He is active in the community serving on a number of Boards and Foundations, including:

  • Current President and Cohort XVII Graduate of Ventura County Leadership Academy.
  • Immediate Past President and current Treasurer of the Ventura County Special Districts Association
  • Trustee and Marketing Chair with the Conejo/Las Virgenes Future Foundation
  • Past Vice Chair - Special Project Initiatives for UCLA Parents Council
  • Member of the California Association of Sanitation Agencies and California Special Districts Association
  • Member of the Association of Water Agencies - Ventura County
  • Member of the Greater Conejo Chamber of Commerce

Mr. Paule has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Arizona State University and earned an M.B.A from Loyola Marymount University.

Mr. Paule currently resides in Westlake Village (Thousand Oaks) after raising his family in Oak Park for nearly 25 years.

With over 35 years of experience in business management, finance and marketing technology, he owns a local marketing and video production agency.

Over the past 26 years, Mr. Paule has been active in local community organizations - having served as a coach and past President of the Agoura Youth Basketball Association, Chair of the OPUSD Measure D4 public oversight committee and various local school bond measures.

Mr. Paule has received several honors, including the Edward M. Masry - Integrity in Community Service Award in 2005. In 2011, he was named one of the top 25 local people making a difference by the Acorn Newspapers, and in 2012 received the Golden Acorn Award from the Community Foundation for Oak Park. In 2015, he received the Partner in Education Award from the Oak Park Unified School District.
